The kids each have a baseball game or three under their belts, not to mention too many practices to count. They’ve both gotten some hits and made it to base. And they’ve both said they don’t really care to play again in the fall — although they both have plenty of time to change their minds!
The games are simultaneously intriguing (look at them apply what they’ve learned!) and never-ending (despite the 60-to-90-minute limit). But it’s fun to see their reactions when they hear the crack of the ball against the bat, and they really ARE learning the rules of the game.
Just a little more than two weeks to go.
