Atticus's First Day of Preschool

 Finally, preschool! Atticus had his FIRST first day of school last week, and he was ready to go.

There were no tears, not even close. I didn't even get a hug that lingered just a little too long. Nope. This kid was ready to play.

The school, room and teachers were all familiar, since Edith had the same two years before. And his classroom has a staggered start, so he had an exceptionally easy beginning -- only him and one other classmate so far. (Eventually there will be another dozen or so.)

Atticus loved his first week, and I think Edith has enjoyed showing him the ropes!
