I live in another country now, I've changed a lot since high school and I wasn't sure how everyone would react to it, and I didn't feel a burning need to reconnect with my classmates.

It was interesting to read how you thought your classmates had changed over the years.

I wonder what the night would have been like if everyone in your class showed up?Lydiahttp://www.on-the-other-hand.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9120479142722539801.post-59556180949272491172009-06-17T22:41:16.514-04:002009-06-17T22:41:16.514-04:00Sounds like you had a good time. The month before, we put together a mini-reunion, ten people showed, but I had a good time. I actually liked High School, one of those few people who did, but since my HS had a graduating class of about 1000, I just did not feel like going through the motions with all those people. Still good friends with some good people at my HS though. Oh well, I lost my point as usual, its the reason I will never be able to twitter.Mellisanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9120479142722539801.post-76857697517906334882009-06-17T15:23:17.536-04:002009-06-17T15:23:17.536-04:00Oh, and I totally am not in the same place in life...Oh, and I totally am not in the same place in life as a lot of my classmates, and I am more than OK with that. Many are married with one, two or three kids and a few are DIVORCED already. One kid, when he found out Phil does family law, was like, "Damn, I may need your services!" Oh dear.Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03580997935293740488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9120479142722539801.post-44879008668157388512009-06-17T15:19:36.290-04:002009-06-17T15:19:36.290-04:00Phil just said to me last night, "Hey, rememb...Phil just said to me last night, "Hey, remember your class reunion and how bad it sucked?" Ha ha.

Mine was just really awkward. Only 40 people showed up out of 255 in our class, and I hadn't spoken to really any of them in 10 years, or that much in high school! Some of us did go to a local bar afterwards, and that was fun. But overall, a lackluster time. I am glad I went because otherwise I would have wondered what it was like.

Facebook is the new high school reunion anyway! :)Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03580997935293740488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9120479142722539801.post-36431537374121782212009-06-17T12:42:39.944-04:002009-06-17T12:42:39.944-04:00Hey, glad you had a good time. We are planning a trip to New York for New Years so maybe we'll catch up then if you aren't too busy :)

TheresaReese (Theresa Mekus Velazquez)noreply@blogger.com
